I just posted a review on Yelp for the library - here it is, and thank you so much for all your help!

"I love this library!! I am new to town and have been delighted to find a lovely group of people at this library, who are interested in books, learning, and building community. I have felt so welcomed and had all my study and tech requests accommodated. The staff really go the extra distance to help me find the right titles, and to bring them in from other libraries, if needed. The free library also has a lively schedule of activities and clubs meeting weekly. The building itself is a classic, and it is a wonderful feeling to come in out of the weather, select a book, and spend a quiet hour in one of the cool antique wooden chairs by the piano or by a stately window. My family and I walk there and visit our new library every chance we get, and really enjoy this new tradition. Hudson Falls Free Library hits just the right note for a small town library, and it is just how libraries ought to be! A valuable part of a complex, historic, and beautiful community, in upstate New York.

Celebrate With Us!

Our current Library building is turning 100 years old this year!  We celebrated with the community at our 100 year festival on

Saturday, May 2nd, 2015.

A lovely afternoon was had by all.  Cake and lemonade were served on the lawn as well as a short ceremony, led by our Director, Sarah Cordts and a flag ceremony led by our very own local Elders.  Afterward, some old~fashioned family games were enjoyed by all.  Thank you to all who participated and stopped by!

Money Matters For Kids

monkey SaveFrom kids.gov:
Money Matters for Kids
One of the most important skills you can teach children is how to manage money successfully. Saving, budgeting for things they want, and making sound spending decisions can be reinforced every time they earn an allowance or are given birthday money.
February 23 – 28 is America Saves Week. To participate and plan activities around good financial habits, check out this list of resources:
