Here are some highlights:
Hannaford Community Bag Program, Kingsbury Store—$1 from each bag sold goes to HFFL in month of January: Throughout this month, Hudson Falls Free Library will get $1 from all the $2.50 reusable bags sold at the Hannaford in Kingsbury. Perfect time to stock up, or to look at the ones you have and replace any that are ripped or worn out.
Creating a Road Map to a Great Year—Wed., Jan. 11 at 7:00 p.m. Goal Planning Workshop for 2023. Review your successes of 2022 then launch into exercises and time for you to think about what you want to learn, accomplish—or let go of—in the coming year.
E-Reading (and Listening!) Demystified: Libby and Hoopla and Your Library Card.—Sat., Jan. 21 at 11:00 a.m. OR Wed., Jan. 25 at 7:00 p.m.: Using e-readers, tablets, smart phone and more to access free electronic materials from our library. At the end of the program, you can schedule a one-on-one follow-up session if you want further help.
S’mitten with Books Winter Reading Challenge for Kids and Teens.—January 1 – March 31. Encourage your kids and teens to read more books during the cold winter ahead.
PAWs for Reading with Aja the Therapy Dog—Wed., Jan. 11 from 5:00 – 6:00 p.m.: (15 minute time slots) First come first served. Children are invited to practice their reading skills with Aja the therapy dog.
NEW! Bounce and Books: Baby and Toddler Playgroup—Every Thursday at 10:15 a.m.: Engage your little one in new ways! Join us for books, rhymes and music to boost your baby and toddlers ability to learn. Ages newborn months-3 years. Siblings welcome.
